The warm weather is approaching and we want to keep the armpit smell at bay.
Antiperspirant deodorant is controversial because of its ingredients. I’m still guilty of using it. However, I don’t need to use it as often because of apple cider vinegar. Dab some onto a cotton ball and wipe your armpits and let it sit for a few minutes before you shower. (This will get that lingering stench out, especially during the warmer months).
Fun fact: Did you know sweat doesn’t have a smell? It’s the bacteria causing the smell!
Now I hear charcoal works just as great. So let’s compare the two.
| Helps With | Apple Cider Vinegar | Activated Charcoal |
|---|---|---|
| Odor | Antibacterial properties that can help kill the bacteria that cause underarm odor | draws out the bacteria that causes odor |
| Wetness from sweat | makes your sweat glands contract, so you actually sweat less | porous nature keeps your armpits dry |
| Lighten | natural bleaching properties |
