First Thing That Comes to Mind – Mocha Latte

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

Today is Friday and first thing that comes to mind is, I’d like to go grab a mocha latte from a local cafe I frequent.

I prefer my mocha latte unsweetened and with a really strong espresso taste…so bitter chocolatey goodness. It’s hard to find – most places make it sweet. I believe you need a really strong dark roast as well. Maybe? Any baristas here? Help me out haha.

My top picks outside of my local cafe:

  1. Nordstrom mocha
  2. La Colombe mocha

Any coffee lovers out there? Stop in and say hi.

If there’s one you’d think I should try, let me know! …or if you can link me to an amazing recipe please do. I still need to try the nordstorm espresso beans. Again – looking for that unsweetened bitter goodness.

Yum! How’d it turn out? I love the Belgian waffles but haven’t been brave enough to buy a waffle maker 😂

A strong mocha on a Friday feels like a small shield before battle.

Sweet ones are like fake smiles—they look good but feel off.

Bitter chocolate and deep espresso speak like an honest friend. No sugar-coating, just truth in a cup.

Finding the right café is like finding a quiet bench that fits your back just right. Rare, but worth the search.

So perfectly said! I love the comparison of the bitter chocolate and deep espresso to an honest friend. Genius.
